After a frantic process at Sheba Hospital of tests, transfers, and a surgery, Dania and her mother are finally getting a break from this frantic process, and Dania is taking the opportunity to recover. She is being extubated today after being declared stable by the doctors, praise the Lord!
We will see how she does in the coming days, as they will give us a glimpse of her future for treatment, but for right now, we can rejoice and pray for continued victory in the Lord.
Little Dania was sleeping peacefully just before her surgery at Sheba Hospital today.
Her operation today would focus on fixing the arteries. Her mother was very nervous because this was all new for both of them. Dania slept peacefully for a long time and woke up just before the surgery. After we left Dania in the hands of the doctors, Dania’s mom had to go to the doctor herself for a check-up because of the birth ten days before. Good news she is doing well!
After a little more than four hours, Dania came out of the surgery. The doctors said the surgery went well! The surgeons put three arteries in the right place but not the fourth, because Dania is too weak. They told us the fourth could be fixed when she’s 10 years old. If everything is fine, she can go home at the end of next week.
Dania arrived from Gaza today to Sheba Hospital via ambulance. The doctors at Sheba were very busy with running tests on her. She is scheduled for surgery already in two days.
More details on her condition will follow. Her lovely mother is with her, to stand next to her through the things that will come.
