Kamala’s visit in Jerusalem is over.
Co-worker Margarita and I were sent to Hadassah hospital when this precious little baby came from Gaza. Big efforts were done to bring her to this place, and big efforts have been done by the doctors to solve the problems she had.
She had some difficulties with her lungs upon arrival, but she is doing better now. She slept like a baby when we entered the transport to return her to Gaza. I’m so happy on behalf of her and on behalf of her family. She didn’t need any surgery, nor a catheterization, and she went back to Gaza doing well.
The future will tell if she needs any further intervention. The grandmother expressed over and over again how grateful she is, and even if she wouldn’t have said a word, her eyes spoke these words.
