We found Alaa groggily recovering from a 3.5 hour catheterization this afternoon, his loving father and mother by his bedside. Dr Sharon, who personally intervened with us to get her longtime patient Alaa back for treatment, succeeded to place a stent to keep a blood vessel open and help improve Alaa’s heart function.
The family hopes Alaa may be discharged and back home in the Hebron hills with his twin brother as soon as tomorrow. Next this little warrior will be back at Sheba for extensive dental care, which must be done under anesthesia in the hospital due to his heart condition.
Please pray for Alaa as he heads into his catheterization tomorrow.
