Baby Ezz has been moved from the ICU to the general pediatric ward of Sheba hospital, where he will be for the next week as he has started on medicine to treat an infection.
His grandmother, who has been amazing this last month, is hoping that this will be the last thing he requires before they can be released.
He is doing well with his pacemaker, so she is hopeful to go back to Kurdistan soon, so that Ezz can see his family. She said they live near each other in Kurdistan, so this grandmother will be able to see Ezzeldin as often as she likes.
Pacemaker implant done today
Since last week when the doctors at Sheba hospital knew Ezzeldin would need a permanent pacemaker, they were waiting for his body to get stronger from an infection he had.
Today he had the procedure done to implant a permanent pacemaker which will help the electrical impulses of his heart. He was extubated the same day.
He remains under the wonderful care of his grandma. She herself is expecting a baby in a few months, and still she had volunteered to be Ezzeldin’s guardian for this time. Please pray God will bless her and for Ezz’s condition to continue to improve after this last surgery.
