Four Defects, Three Years Old

"Tetralogy" normally denotes a four-part phenomenon in various fields; but in Yasna's case, it means that her young heart must reckon with four heart defects that render her blood oxygen poor.  This combination is known as Tetralogy of Fallot.  Due to the complex nature if this issue, surgery is always required.

Thanfully Yasna's pulmonary arteries are of good size, and she is considered to be a suitable candidate for complete surgical repair.  At just three years old, we would like to bring her into Israel as soon as possible, so she may receive the care she needs and enjoy a healthy childhood.  We plan on welcoming her this Sunday as visas are being processed.
