Coming Soon

Roween is a beautiful, nine-month-old little girl from a Christian Iraqi family. Her family has been living in Kurdistan, northern Iraq, as refugees for some time now. Roween has a defect known as a Ventricular Septal Defect, which is the most commonly appearing congenital heart defect. Basically, that means that she has a hole between the left and right chambers of her heart which allows her oxygenated blood to mix with her deoxygenated blood, resulting in an overall reduced supply of oxygen for her body. We hope that she and her mother will be joining us in our Shevet home very soon.
