Adam Cleared to Go Home!

Posted on Tue, 11/07/2017 - 22:00 by Maxine Stuart

Little Adam has been recovering at an amazing rate! So well that today he got the all-clear to head home. His mother had actually packed up, and moved out of the ICU by the time we met up with her this afternoon. Adam was asleep, but looked so cute in his special little outfit.

They are currently on their way home. We thank God for the opportunity to contribute to the healing of another heart. May Adam have a long and healthy life ahead of him!

Good News

I saw little Adam for the first time today as it was my very first visit to Sheba hospital. He was sleeping and seems to be doing well from the heart surgery. Also the mother was in the hospital and is happy with the current health state of her baby. The doctor said that Adam might be dismissed from ICU in a couple of days if his condition remains the same. This is really good news and we can give thanks to Jesus!

Adam's Arrival

Cute baby Adam arrived with his mom to Sheba hospital last night. After working to secure their permission for the past couple days, we were able to drive them from the Erez border crossing yesterday late afternoon. After fighting through traffic, our coworker Ben safely got them to the cardiac ICU there. Adam's mom has made herself right at home with the other Palestinian mothers at Sheba and they were sharing a lovely meal tonight when I went in to visit briefly.

Our team earlier today had longer to visit with Adam and his mom and enjoyed getting to know them.

Adam is on the surgery schedule tomorrow as the second surgery. He will have the constricted segment of his aorta repaired and we are lifting him up in prayer. Thank you for joining us in following Adam through his journey towards a healed heart!
